1. General Information
These terms and conditions apply to all reservations made directly with The Bank Hotel, located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. By making a reservation, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Reservations and Payments
- A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations.
- Depending on your rate plan, payment may be taken in advance or upon arrival.
- All rates include VAT but exclude the city tax, which is charged separately in accordance with local regulations.
- Special offers and promotions are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other discounts.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in: From 15:00
- Check-out: Before 11:00
- Guests who book directly through our website receive a complimentary late check-out at 12:00, subject to availability.
- Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon request (charges may apply).
- Guests must present a valid ID and credit card upon arrival.
4. Cancellation Policy
- The cancellation policy depends on the chosen rate plan at the time of booking.
- Flexible bookings can typically be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival.
- Non-refundable bookings cannot be changed or cancelled without charge.
- In case of no-show or late cancellation, the total cost of the stay will be charged.
5. Smoking Policy
The Bank Hotel is a 100% non-smoking property. Smoking in rooms or public areas is strictly prohibited. A cleaning fee of €200 will be charged if this policy is violated.
6. Damage and Conduct
Guests are expected to treat the property and its contents with care.
- Any damage, theft, or loss caused by a guest or accompanying person will be charged accordingly.
- The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave in case of inappropriate or disruptive behavior, without refund.
7. Personal Belongings and Liability
The hotel is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
A safe is provided in each room for your convenience.
8. Force Majeure
The hotel cannot be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
9. Privacy Policy
Personal data collected during the reservation process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and current data protection regulations (GDPR).
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Amsterdam.
